Hi, I am Emilie. I am a newborn photographer.
Actually, I am also Evelyne and Louis's mama, a fond traveler, a lists-lover, in love, bilingual, a frequent mover, an excellent co-pilot, a casual runner, far away from my folks, a warm water diver (because cold water is cold!), a big eater and in my thirties.
But above all, I am a passionate woman, I love life! And life goes by so fast that it is essential to seize its most beautiful moments through photography. Photos capture precious memories and help you relive again and again instants of pure bliss. And really, what can be more magical than the first few days of a newborn?
Each newborn is unique in my eyes, and that is what I seek to highlight in my photographs.
My daughter was born with a crease underneath her big left toe. I think I cried when I realized that it had disappeared over time...
I have always been interested in photography and over the years, it has helped me preserve memories of thousands of emotions and life moments. From a hobby, it grew into a passion, and one day, I decided to launch it as a career to fully realize my creativity. I have honed my craft through formal training and workshops with photographers I admire.
So this is it!
That's me. Glad to meet you!
I looking forward to tell your story through my photographs!!

The Blooming Bliss Photography Studio
As soon as I walked into our house, I instantly knew where I would set up the Christmas tree! That was it, we had found our house, our home. This was where our family, our love and our passions would bloom.
My studio is at the heart of this oasis, in St-Albert in the Mission quarter. It is a haven of peace and of calm where I invite you to relax with a nice cup of tea or coffee.
It is a place I adore!
The studio is entirely designed for your comfort and that of baby. Cushions, soft blankets, a changing table, changing supplies and soft music incite you to enjoy the moment.
You have forgotten something? No problem, I have it on hand!
So please enter, breathe, relax, I take care of EVERYTHING!
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I contact you to reserve my newborn session?
As soon as you have made your choice and the sooner the better! In order to provide superior quality service and products, I only take a set amount of sessions per month.
Why should baby be between 6 and 18 days new for the Newborn Session?
It is between this prime time that newborns are the most curly and it is easier to place them in those beautiful positions. It is also during that time that they sleep most profoundly and often a full session can take place without waking up baby!
What happens if my newborn baby does not sleep during the photo session?
No problem, do not worry, I take care of everything! Open or closed eyes, a splendid Portrait Collection of images will be created for you!
WHAT SHOULD I BRING AT MY SESSIONS?
Once again, not to worry! I put at your disposal maternity dresses, blankets, sets of baby clothes, head ties as well as baskets and other accessories that will help highlight your beauty and the one of your baby!
Regardless of the choice of style & colours, my goal remains the same: make the most out of my subjects! Accessories are chosen strictly to highlight your beautiful features.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY SESSION?
It is pretty simple and you don't have to worry about anything! Right before your session I will send you a Quick Tips document in which you will find tips and recommendations to help you optimize your session. I will be there walking you through every steps :)
WHY SHOULD I BE 32 TO 36 WEEKS PREGnANT FOR MY MATERNITY SESSION?
That is the time when your belly is sufficiently curved and well defined that it features well on photographs and when you are still comfortable.
CAN MY OTHER CHILDREN, MY PARTNER AND I BE INCLUDED IN MY NEWBORN AND Milestone SESSIONs?
Of course! Parents and siblings are always included in all of my sessions. Additional adult can also be included for a $50 fee per person.
